LAKE LEAVES...DECEMBER

the leaves
on the lake
like broken swans
 
their white wings
their black bills
their webbed feet
 
the black & white
merge with
blue and brown
 
floating over
my inner mind’s
landscape
 
ducks, too,
mix with other
lake birds

caught
in the net
