POET
In heaven in a lotus garden,
love was flowering in the early sadness of his eyes,
painting the moon silvery blue,
color of her eyes.Birds were nesting in his arms
thinking he was a tree,
rainstorm was busy
shaking its branches.His burning head
now buried deep in love's ashes,
a wild black wind was trying to open his eyelids,
readying to tear its shutters off their hinges.Having loved too much and still in love,
cherished in heaven, but betrayed on earth
his hazel eyes were melting into the waters of the pond.Birds were singing vainly in the dreaming tree.
